Welcome to the Billingsley, Deuxhill, Glazeley and Middleton Scriven Parish Council

Billingsley, Deuxhill, Glazeley, and Middleton Scriven are small rural civil parishes in Shropshire, England, south and southwest of Bridgnorth. They’re primarily agricultural areas with historical significance as manors and former coal and iron mining sites. They share a single Parish Council.

Billingsley is a village and civil parish on the B4363 road, six miles south of Bridgnorth. It’s an agricultural village with historical coal and ironstone mining in the 18th and early 20th centuries.

Deuxhill is a hamlet and one of the smallest parishes in Shropshire, north of Billingsley on the B4363 road.

Glazeley is a hamlet and civil parish southwest of Bridgnorth, bordering Deuxhill. The Borle Brook flows to its northeast.

Middleton Scriven, a picturesque village and civil parish southwest of Bridgnorth, has a rich history. Recorded in the Domesday Book as ‘Middeltone’, it’s been primarily agricultural since then.
